PRACTICA, Thursday, August 20th. Practice with fellow dancers from 8-10 pm. FREE lesson 7:30-8 pm. Marguerite DJ’s a mix of classic, nuevo and alternative tango music. $5 fee, or $3 for seniors or with student ID. Boise Cafe, 10th & Bannock in downtown Boise.
ARGENTINE TANGO NIGHT with the Vinyl Preservation Society on Wednesday, August 26th. All tango dancers are invited to the Modern Hotel Bar for the VPS monthly meeting where we’ll be demonstrating tango from 7:30 – 8:00 pm. The meeting starts at 7:00 pm, and the whole evening is free. Dance a little, listen to a terrific variety of music on vinyl, and have a drink at this quirky little bar. Contact Camille for more info.
