Here are the primary sources of information for Argentine Tango in the Boise area.
GoDaddy Website            http://www.boisetango.com/

This is the long established website.  Unfortunately it drops off line from time to time.  The following website is a backup.  Use it or bookmark it to               back up the regular site.

Soft Planet Website;          http://www.softplanet.net/boisetangosociety/

This is the same website in a parallel universe there simply to back up the other one which sometimes fails.

Info on Facebook                http://www.facebook.com/groups/boisetangoinfo/

Good source of info on recent updates and personal feedback.

Google Calendar             https://www.google.com/calendar/render?tab=wc&pli=1

Also accessible through either website.        Calendar of events….usually kept up to date and accurate.

BTS News; 12-9-12

There was a Milonga at Eileen’s on Saturday, December 8th where the question was asked; “Has tango in Boise ever been this good?”

BTS News: 11/30/12

Last night, at The Press, Linda Riess taught a class on musicality including concepts of musical interpretation around differences of orchestras in the same title and differences in phrases within the same piece or  ‘How to interpret the dance depending on differences in the music’.  Thank you Linda!

It was a “capacity” crowd.  By “capacity”, I refer to the maximum number who can dance comfortably together on the floor.  This is changing as we improve our floor craft skills.  We are accommodating more couples on the floor than in times past with less spacial conflicts.  As this trend continues, we will be able to accommodate even more growth at the Thursday night Practica at The Press.  Yeah!

There was a good turnout at Fort Boise this Wednesday with a perfect gender balance.  Thanks to Joe and Anita for the continuing class there.

The Sunday practica at the Y continues to grow.  Because of the rather vast floor space available there, it is easy to have multiple mini ‘workshops’ simultaneously.  It is a marvelous opportunity to learn, experiment and learn to teach.
